In this second round, a total of nine working areas are offered. Seven of them are through the Direct Offer mechanism, one through direct offer without joint study from unawarded block in previous round, and one through regular tender.
The blocks are geographically diverse — seven located in western Indonesia and two in the eastern region. Each area offers distinct opportunities — from gas-rich offshore basins to oil-prone onshore structures — giving investors a wide range of options depending on their technical capabilities and risk appetite.
